What can we do for you? The Pedal Me day in photos
A sample shift from a day at Pedal Me and some of the lovely customers who have discovered the advantages of working with us – your pink-clad, carbon neutral couriers, carrying big capacity loads with friendly smiles
Fortitude bakehouse in Bloomsbury is a must-visit. Their buns are exquisite. So good, in fact, that they supply a swathe of bakeries across the city – delivered by Pedal Me, of course. And we get a cheeky free espresso while we wait. A Pedal Me favourite way to start our day.
Padella‘s two restaurants in Shoreditch and Borough Market keep us busy delivering supplies to make some of the finest pasta dishes in town. One of our regular pick ups in the famous market.
Oh, coffee. Did we mention coffee? We love the stuff, which is just as well, as our clients Volcano and Caravan have a whole hill of beans to be shifted around town.
Lunchtime for us kicks off around 10:30, our peak period, delivering hot food around the city. Got to keep those office workers fed and happy, haven’t we? And we do.
This city company orders a lot of food, via Feedr. And we mean a lot! We all ride to cover the workload mid-morning – that’s our CEO, Olivier, mucking in. That’s how we roll.
The lunch rush is over, and thoughts turn to beer… Hmmm, beer. We collect empty kegs from licensed premises and return them to our base in SE1 for weekly collection by lorry – far more efficient than big diesel vehicles trying to negotiate the cluttered streets in town, Kegstar find.
Premium e-bike brand VanMoof have us deliver their valuable machines in London. This bucolic spot is Richmond, in case you were wondering. Lovely, eh?
Need that Paul Smith suit today? Yep, we do that too. Delighted to have Sir Paul’s stores on our books.
Lime bikes and scooters use heavy batteries. Our crew track down those needing refreshing and install fully-charged power units. The current hourly swap record is 20 – pretty impressive, we trust you’d agree.
We are proud to work with Tower Hamlets food bank, delivering supplies to those who need them most. Six riders per day wind their way around east London dropping off groceries to hubs and schools across the borough. We also service Hackney food bank and Made In Hackney – good people doing great work.
And when the day is done, our fleet of passenger-trained riders are delighted to ferry our young Tower Hamlets guests to their Christmas lunch. Just look at their little faces!
