Welcome to the Pedal Me Help Centre! Here you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions about our services, pricing, coverage area, and more. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

  • What services do you offer?

    We offer a range of passenger and cargo transport services using e-assist cargo bikes. These include:

    • Cargo: For bulky or heavy items, up to 150Kg, you can use the full capacity of one of our cargo bikes.

    • Small Cargo: For medium-sized deliveries, up to 30Kg, you can use part of one of our cargo bikes.

    • Tiny Cargo: For smaller parcels and items, up to 10Kg, that would fit in a traditional scooter cargo box.

    • Trailer: For very large or heavy items, up to 300kg. We have several different trailer sizes, get in touch if you’re not sure if your cargo would fit.

    • Passenger: Get a ride on the front of our cargo bikes, up to 2 adults, 1 adult and 2 children or 3 children.

    You can choose between ASAP (as soon as possible) or pre-booked jobs, and we also offer rider + bike hire by the hour for timed bookings.

    What service should I book?

    If you're unsure which service to choose, here’s a quick guide:

    • For a single parcel or small box: Tiny Cargo.

    • For multiple parcels or bulkier items: Small Cargo or Cargo.

    • For very large/heavy items: Cargo with trailer.

    • For transporting a person: Passenger service.

    • For errands or support over a set time period: Timed booking.

    Can I make multiple stops or pickups?

    Yes! We can handle multi-drop and multi-pickup jobs. When booking, simply list all the addresses in the order you want us to visit. Each additional stop may affect the final price.

    Do you offer same-day delivery or ASAP services?

    Absolutely. Our ASAP service is perfect for urgent jobs. Just select the ASAP option when booking, and we’ll dispatch a rider as soon as one becomes available.

  • How much does it cost?

    Our prices are based on a dynamic pricing model that takes into account:

    • Distance and time of the journey

    • Number of pickups and drops

    • Time of day (peak/off-peak)

    • How far in advance you book

    • Additional options like trailers or timed bookings

    You can get an instant quote via our website or app. We can also offer fixed rates for some business clients.

    Can I get a quote before booking?

    Yes! Just enter your job details online and we’ll give you a price with no obligation to book. You can also request quotes for more complex jobs by contacting our team directly.

    Are there surcharges or extra fees?

    Some situations may include extra charges, such as:

    • Waiting time if the rider is delayed beyond the included waiting time at a pick up or drop off.

    • Out-of-hours bookings or weekend surcharges.

    • Use of our thermal boxes.

  • What are your operating hours?

    We operate 7 days a week. General hours are:

    • Weekdays: 7am – 7pm

    • Weekends: 8am – 5pm

    Some services may be available outside these hours by request. Holiday hours may vary and will be announced in advance.

    How far in advance should I book?

    For most pre-booked services, we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee availability and a lower price.

    For trailers or timed bookings, earlier notice is appreciated.

    ASAP services can be booked instantly, subject to rider availability.

    Do you operate in bad weather?

    Yes, we ride in all weather—rain, wind, or cold! However, in cases of severe conditions (e.g. snow or storms), there may be delays or temporary service suspensions for safety reasons. We’ll always keep you updated.

  • How do I make a booking?

    You can book directly through our web app on your desktop or phone. Choose your service, enter your pickup and drop-off locations, and confirm your time slot.

    Can I book recurring or regular jobs?

    Yes—we work with many customers who book the same job on a daily or weekly basis. Let us know your schedule and we’ll help you set up a recurring booking with minimal admin.

    How do I cancel or change a booking?

    You can cancel or edit bookings through your account or by contacting our team. We recommend giving as much notice as possible. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

    Can you help me book a job?

    If you are struggling to book a job contact us via email, live chat, contact form or landline. Please create an account and add a payment method beforehand, and we can book a job for you.

  • Do you provide proof-of-delivery?

    All our bookings will include photographs taken at pick up and drop off, alongside the name of the person who the cargo was given by/to.

    Is my cargo or ride safe with you?

    All our riders are trained professionals and go through DBS background checks. Your cargo is secured in our cargo rack and weatherproof cargo bags or can be covered with tarps when on trailers, and passengers are transported with care by riders with extra training. We’re also insured for both cargo and passenger services.

    How do you reduce emissions and congestion?

    We use e-assist cargo bikes instead of vans or cars, which means no exhaust emissions, lower noise, and less congestion. Our bikes are built to handle serious logistics while keeping London’s air cleaner and streets less crowded.

  • How do I create an account?

    Creating an account is quick and easy — just sign up through our web app. Business customers can also request a managed account for additional features and support.

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept major credit and debit cards. Business clients may also be eligible for monthly invoicing.
