How it works
At Pedal Me, we believe in looking after our people properly. That’s why all our staff are employees, not contractors.
There are a range of hours available: set shifts and flexible working; weekdays and weekends; daytime and evening; part-time and full-time (18 hours and 36 hours per week, respectively). This flexibility means our riders can have a better work-life balance.
We provide full training and equipment necessary. All we ask is that you have a smartphone – in order to pick up allocated jobs, communicate, and clock in / out, via the apps that we use.
Once qualified, the initial hourly wage is National Living Wage, plus 20% commission – so we expect you’ll earn about £9 an hour. But as work gets busier, it should be possible to increase that to £11 and beyond.
“I love riding these bikes – you get respect out on the road, and everyone smiles at you!” – Niall
We are keen to support your professional development. Our model is that, as far is practicable, all Pedal Me staff do some riding. But beyond that you could easily become our future Social Media whizz, New Business Lead, or Web Developer. We’ll help you develop the skills needed depending on the direction you’d like to take.
Finally, you may have noticed that this industry is male-dominated – we certainly have. That’s why Pedal Me is actively seeking women. Because we believe the more diversity the better. So, what are you waiting for? Click the link!
